Well – after a uncertain start I actually did succeed in teaching a spin using pure shaping! Here is a short clip of Gitta’s success!
It also shows off her tail quite nicely 
Now I just need to shape it to be a bit tighter and a quicker. But I’m over the training hump.

Very cool, and so cute! I have friends who have gone to Clicker Expo and loved it. They commented that even the experts in clicker training disagree on some points. It should be a good time!
